SENIOR STRUCTURAL OFFSHORE ENGINEER

The Senior Structural Offshore Engineer is responsible for a wide range of steelwork. This varies from jackets, piles and complete topsides to details such as joints, descending frames, landings and lifting points. The Structural department consists of engineers and designers. The engineers are making analyses to show that the global strength of new and existing structures is according design requirements. On base of these analyses, the steel work can be designed. When the analyses are sufficiently reliable, the results are modeled in the 3D model of the project. This modeling work is done by the designers of the Structural department in PDS or Tekla. In this 3D model, all disciplines design their own items, for example cable trays (E&I) and equipment (Mechanical). The structural designer is responsible for all steelwork in the model. From the 3D steel model, he will automatically generate 2D drawings.

LEAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER

As Lead Mechanical Engineer you will engineer a solution for a technical problem to be solved, and share your insights and expertise with clients and suppliers. You will represent the Oil & Gas business unit in a multidisciplinary team and can recognize impact on mechanical engineering of design choices from other disciplines. This means you will represent the mechanical engineering consciousness within a project or with regards to a product being developed. Involvement will mostly be within Engineering projects in the Oil & Gas industry (national or international).

NAVAL DESIGNER

As Naval Designer you are responsible for delivery of the design of the naval work scope of a project within time & budget. Typically these include arrangement, layouts, construction plans and material lists. You report to the Lead (Project) Engineer on progress, set backs, concerns and design improvements, you signal technical risks and anomalies in projects to the Naval & Marine Section Head. If necessary you are requested to perform activities abroad, on site or with our clients.

GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

As Geotechnical Engineer you will be working on tender and project preparation with regards to all foundation related subjects. Tasks and responsibilities will include maintaining and developing the know-how of the foundation group and preparing pile installation, sway and suction/drive-ability studies. Besides you will be working on foundation design for fixed and floating structures and structuring on bottom stability and mudmat analysis. You are involved in foundation installation equipment for planning, logistics, (re-)design, application etcetera. You focus on pile, sway hammer and structural monitoring, including full reporting and offshore execution. Providing offshore Foundation Engineering project support

(SENIOR) PIPING ENGINEER

The Senior Piping Engineer is responsible for delivering the engineering output of the piping work scope in line with the technical specification, budget and planning. You reply to queries from offshore, clients and vendors on time and signal technical risks to anomalies to your Section Head. You assist the Lead (Project) Engineer or Section Head in establishing the commissioning functional specifications to achieve technical integrity in line with the design. During the procurement- and construction phase you assist in vendor/(sub)contractor selection, definition of and participation in inspections and review of piping related documentation. Furthermore, you assist the Lead (Project) Engineer or Section Head in establishing the fabrication and construction specifications. You signal and anticipate on technical developments and coach more junior Piping Engineers.

(SENIOR) INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

The (Senior) Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for delivering the engineering output of the instrumentation work scope in line with the technical specification, budget and planning. During the procurement- and construction phase you assist the Lead (Project) Engineer or Section Head in vendor/(sub)contractor selection, definition of and participation in inspections and review of instrumentation related documentation. Furthermore, you assist the Lead (Project) Engineer or Section Head in establishing the commissioning functional specifications to achieve technical integrity in line with the design. You reply to InterDiscipline checks, queries from offshore, client, certifying authority and vendor on time. You assist the Lead (Project) Engineer or Section Head in obtaining client and third party approval. On request of the Section Head or Corporate Technical Authority you act as technical advisor in construction/commissioning activities and during asset operation.
