My department is growing fast. Finding good people who can detract CO2 from the air through clever process technology, is something I do myself, in part, and I am helped very well by TMC. They have a surprisingly good network and generally present high quality candidates. I also greatly appreciate the fact that we invest in the people together in order to bring them to the next level during the time they work for me, through TMC. I do that through training them up on the job and giving them time to attend training courses, TMC does that through coaching, training and frequent meetings.

TMC’s service is personal. I know my account manager well and vice versa. Our conversations go beyond the topic of just candidates. In addition it is of the utmost importance that TMC Employeneurs are good, and they are. TMC has a great sense for finding people who want to work with TNO, that saves me a great deal of selection time. TMC is also quick to respond and the account manager’s availability is also good.

The first TMC Employeneur has just made the move from TMC to TNO. I think some more will follow over the coming period. This shows that the people have sufficient quality and are talented. In fact, I do not need to differentiate between TMC Employeneurs and TNO employees for the activities in my department. Both are extremely good.
As I said before, particularly the screening by TMC is very good, that is how they score. In addition the active coaching geared to competencies is a unique selling point.

Within the department we are working on various projects regarding process improvement, optimisation, validation and equipment qualification. My contribution to the project was to optimise the campaign size of the two extrusion processes and the optimisation of the process of continued radiation.

My work consisted of: performing process validation tests, having these validation batches released, writing the work instructions, training the operators and liaising with external parties. I am proud that optimising the production process has resulted in an increase of the through put and in a visible and significant increase in profit. It feels good to have contributed to that.
